What to Expect

Your first visit is designed to help us get to know you and understand your unique health needs.

During your appointment, you can expect:

  • A conversation about your health history, current concerns, and wellness goals.
  • A comprehensive chiropractic consultation and examination.
  • A discussion of our findings and recommendations for your care.
  • If appropriate, your first chiropractic adjustment may be performed during this visit.



If Craniosacral Therapy or Reiki is recommended as part of your care, we'll discuss how these therapies may complement your treatment plan and answer any questions you may have.

We believe that the best healthcare is collaborative. You'll never feel rushed, and we'll take the time to explain our recommendations so you can make informed decisions about your care.


Before Your Appointment

To help us make the most of your visit, please complete your new patient forms prior to your arrival. Completing your paperwork in advance allows us to spend more time focusing on you and your health rather than paperwork.

If you are unable to complete your forms before your appointment, please arrive 15–20 minutes early to allow enough time.

Please also bring:

  • A photo ID
  • Your insurance card if you plan to request a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement
  • Any recent imaging reports (X-rays or MRI reports), if applicable
  • A list of current medications or supplements, if relevant


Payment & Insurance

North Rockland Chiropractic is a direct-pay practice. Payment is due at the time of your visit.

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network chiropractic benefits, we are happy to provide you with a detailed superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Any reimbursement is determined by your individual insurance plan and is paid directly to you.
